Transforming Your Business on Purpose
Why are you in business, other than to make money? There is a real commercial advantage in identifying your “purpose beyond profit” and using it to build your strategy, culture and brand. Purposeful businesses attract customers, talent and investment by giving people a reason to trust them. Award-winning agency The House believe the future belongs to businesses with a purpose, and Creative Director Steve Fuller will demonstrate why.
From global brands like Unilever to local South West-born brands like Yeo Valley, there is growing momentum behnd the purpose movement. As Simon Sinek says, “People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.” Steve will share the hard evidence that purpose works, including how Unilever’s purposeful brands are growing twice as fast as the rest of its portfolio. Expect real case studies and examples of great purposeled businesses, as well as an insight into the ups and downs of The House’s own purpose journey. This talk promises to be of interest to leaders, management and senior professionals of businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors.
Bath-based The House has been working with global and local brands for nearly 20 years, and describe themselves as an agency with a heart of fire. They work with CEOs and business leaders wanting to create a flourishing brand, a greater company and a lasting legacy. Most notably, they gave up 70% of their turnover 7 years ago to focus on creating a business with purpose and have since grown from strength to strength and won multiple industry awards.
