Steve Hulbert – Vivid Content Marketing
The Clifton Club
Tuesday 13th October 2015. 5:30 to 8pm
Why Content Marketing is the Only Marketing That Matters
It’s a bold statement, we know. Our speaker, Steve Hulbert, will discuss why storytelling is the new marketing, and how content has the potential to ignite small and medium size businesses. But becoming a publisher isn’t without challenges – which platform is right for your brand? How can you get greater value from your content by re-working it to fit different platforms? Steve will also offer his five predictions for the future of content marketing.
As a founding partner of Vivid Content Marketing, Steve Hulbert specialises in helping clients realise the value of their expertise and turning this into engaging content that really speaks to audiences across a variety of platforms. He will share case studies from his own work to highlight successes and failures, and has promised to include the challenges of creating useful content for wearable tech! This talk will be of interest to both client-side marketers and agencies alike, as well as management and senior professionals of businesses of all sectors.
Bristol-based Vivid Content Marketing is an exciting new boutique agency founded by former Future Plc executives building on their experience working with clients such as Tesco, Fender, Odeon and Virgin Holidays. Through Vivid, the award-winning team of brand content specialists help clients, big and small, build relationships that last through beautifully created magazines, apps and all the things the internet loves, with the end goal of creating brilliant content marketing.
About the Speaker
After starting his career at a media agency and cutting his teeth working with clients like The National Trust and the RNLI, Steve moved into the publishing world with Future Plc. Focussed on commercial revenues in both print and digital media, Steve was part of the team that launched and monetised the hugely succesful Bikeradar.com, and acquired and revamped the world’s largest cycling website Cyclingnews.com. As a CIM qualified marketer, Steve then moved to Future’s customer publishing division where he launched and revamped both digital and print titles for the likes of Autotrader and the Professional Footballers Association.
