How to Convert and Retain Followers of Your Brand
After a successful talk in Bath earlier this year, Ready’s co-founder Shane Carnell-Xu will return to the Marketing Network to discuss how today’s consumers subscribe to brands in many different ways. Shane will explore how tried and tested techniques designed to attract and retain magazine subscribers can be harnessed to grow any brand with a loyal following.
Bath-based agency Ready specialise in subscription campaigns, and thrive on delivering engaging campaigns that drive brand awareness and commercial success. Originally Xcetra Media, Ready have recently undergone a rebrand ahead of an ambitious five-year programme of planned growth. The team recently developed an online game for Quidco to encourage new member sign-ups and promote affiliate partner brands, which resulted in more than 617,000 plays in 10 days and 57% of retailers seeing an uplift in purchases.
About the Speaker
Following a career in advertising at one of the UK’s largest magazine publishing companies, Shane Carnell-Xu co-founded Xcetra Media with his brother in 2007. Ready’s impressive client list includes Freeview, Soap & Glory, Quidco and some of the UK’s largest media companies such as Future, Bauer Media and Immediate Media (formerly BBC Magazines). Shane is passionate about design and how to use creativity to unlock the power of brands. Fluent in Chinese Mandarin, he was a member of the IPA’s delegation on their 2011 trade mission to China.
When and Where
Our venue for the evening is The Clifton Club, Bristol. As always, the evening starts at the bar with networking from 5.30pm. The talk starts at 6.30 and finishes by 7.30pm, allowing for even more networking time afterwards.
