Me, My Selfie and I – How Online Identity Makes Things Go Viral
After a fantastic talk in Bristol last year, Tiffany Maddox of Rubber Republic is back. She will be talking about the creation and curation of our online identity and pesonal brands, and how everything you share tells the world something about you. What should marketers and brands do with this information? We’ve also been promised an insight into the 5 things brands should be working against when creating social video.
Rubber Republic is a London-based viral marketing agency comprising of writers, film-makers, compulsive content-sharers and digital tinkerers. Russel Crowe has called them “refreshingly insane”. They use a combination of blogger outreach, PR, native placements, media partnerships and video syndication to give their videos the best chance of success. The result is videos that are far from the norm and resonate with their audience, as well as some very prestigious awards!
As marketers we all know that to make something go viral isn’t as easy as it sounds. To prepare yourself for Tiffany’s talk, we recommend you watch a few of the viral videos they have created for their clients here.
About the Speaker
Tiffany Maddox was named one of the UK’s top 50 digital women under 30 by The Drum last year for making waves in the digital sector. She is a multi-award winning writer and can list winning a Golden Lion at Cannes for the Bodyform film as one of her biggest professional achievements so far. She works on projects throughout the entire process, from early planning and script writing to distribution.
